Trimbakeshwar Shiva Temple is an ancient Hindu temple in the town of Trimbak, in the Trimbakeshwar tehsil in the Nashik District of Maharashtra.

Trimbakeshwar this holy temple is built by Shri Peshwa Nanasaheb between 1755 to 1786 A.D. It is also know black stone temple as it is built out of pure Basait (Volcano Lava).
The temple is Perched on an enticing island of Mandhata which has it shape resembling the symbol "OM".
The present structure of temple was rebuilt by Ranoji Scindia in 1734 CE during the reign of Jayajirao Scindia (Until 1886) major programs of Gwaloir state used to be held at this temple.
